Terms and Conditions for Attorney or other Professional Advertisers

All terms and conditions that apply to all site users continue to apply to advertisers. Additional terms, requirements, certifications and representations apply, any of which can be changed at the discretion of the site, without notice to advertisers. All advertiser-attorneys (or other professionals whether specifically named, including, but not limited to financial planners, insurance professionals and CPAs, if a directory is estatlished for such disciplines at the sole discretion of the site owner and administration) by signing up in such capacity agree to be bound by such terms and conditions and release the site, the site owner, its officers, directors, employees, successors and assigns from any liability in connection therewith. Advertising rights or the ability to become an advertiser is at the sole and absolute discretion of the site, except to the extent in violation with state and federal laws. This site does not discriminate based on race, gender or any class protected under the laws of the state and United States of America. Additional rules and requirements are as follows, any or all of which are subject to change:

Law firms or other professional firms may be allowed to advertise at the discretion of the site, but generally the site is intended for individual lawyers. A maximum number of lawyers, financial planners or other professionals in any one firm can be limited as deemed desirable by the site, its officers, directors, employees or administrator. At the present time, no more than 2 attorneys from any one firm will be allowed to advertise. Exceptions to this limit can be made at the discretion of the site. Considerations may, but do not have to, include the firm size, the percentage of firm business in estate planning, financial planning, retirement plannings, probate, elder law etc. The intent is to help assure that no firm or group of attorneys dominate any market area. In firms of 5 or fewer lawyers, the site administrator shall control whether 2 lawyers will be allowed as members. Such determination will depend on the geographical area, population, attorney density, firm specialization, competitors offering similar services and any other criteria deemed useful by the site, its administrator, employees and others affiliated with the site, all at the sole and absolute discretion of the site. For firms dealing extensively or almost exclusively (in the sole opinion and discretion of the site owner and administrator) a firm lising may be allowed.

By signing up as an advertiser ("attorney" or "member") you certify to the site that your practice includes an Estate Planning and/or Succession practice for lawyer-advertisers and if allowed to advertise (site may be limited to attorneys) then other professional firms certify that their practice includes finacial planning, retirment planning and/or insurance planning. Estate Planning encompasses Wills, Trusts, Estate Tax Planning, Elder law and other traditional areas. If in the sole opinion and discretion of the Site your practice does not meet these qualification requirements or does not appear to meet them, the site can deny membership and advertising rights and privileges.

With 1 attorney for every 250 residents in the state, we will voluntarily limit member advertisers to 1 attorney for every 15,000 residents for a maximum number of attorney-advertisers of 300 throughout the state for the year 2014 and 2015, as adjusted for changes in population. Some local geographical areas may have a greater density at the discretion of the site. For example, in a parish with only 9000 residents the site may allow 2 advertisers if it deems both meet all qualification requirements and doing so is beneficial to the public by allowing a choice of 2 local lawyers as opposed to only one listing.

As per the general terms and provisions, the site prohibits the use of profanity, false and misleading advertising, disparaging remarks about other members of the bar etc. See our terms and conditions for other provisions.
When the site is referenced herein for purposes of decisions, discretion and or any actions discussed herein, including any release of liability or hold harmless provisions, it includes any the company owning and operating the site, its officers, directors, company members, managers, administrator, employees and assigns or the site.

Attorneys with a paid listing may submit articles for publication on the site. Attorneys are encouraged to submit an article for publication, but we request that it contain information and materials that are not otherwise already covered in already published articles. Each attorney may submit one article for which they will be listed as the author and a link to their profile (if they so provide at the end of their article). Any submitted article is subject to review and the site is under no obligation whatsoever to publish said article, the site having full discretion to deny publication without having to provide reasons for such denial. The site reserves the right to charge a fee for publication, but it is not its intention to do so as of the time of this writing. The importance of providing quality site materials for our guests is our primary consideration. Multiple articles (more than one article within a short time frame) by the same author will likely not be allowed as the balance of the site with regard to exposure of attorneys in our directory to the public will be a consideration. However, the site may allow multiple articles if it deems them beneficial to our guests and they cover subject matter that in the site's opinion is desirable and timely.
